Management Structure:

CONSORTIUM MANAGEMENT BOARD:

  1. Outward facing role
  2. To develop industrial research with consortium members
  3. To recruit new members
  4. To enable and facilitate technology transfer and organise technology events
  5. To manage relationship with other consortia within and outside the UK

RESEARCH BOARD:

  1. Both outward and inward facing
  2. Monitor progress of industrial and academic research at strategic level
  3. Build and facilitate strategic academic relationships and collaborations
  4. To make decisions and facilitate academic visits to and from the Institute
  5. To allocate supplementary and full funding to PhD candidates from the Institute’s own revenues

MANAGEMENT BOARD:

  1. Inward facing role
  2. To manage the day to day operation of the Institute
  3. To make decisions on the strategic direction of the Institute
  4. To make equipment acquisition decisions
  5. To make decisions in connection to the promotion and student recruitment of the Institute’s MSc programme
