Membership Programme:
Membership is tiered according to the level of collaboration and involvement a particular member requires. The Institute offers the following three levels:
Basic:
There are no fees. Members will receive the newsletter and will be kept informed about developments and research opportunities electronically. They will also have free access to team members’ expertise and research on demand, including research project proposals as full partners in a project.
Technology Transfer:
Members will pay an annual membership fee and will have access to Benefits.
Technology Vendors:
Members donate in kind support hardware or software and in return they get the Benefits as the technology transfer level.
Sponsors:
Members will pay an annual membership fee and will have access to Benefits as the technology transfer level. Furthermore, they are entitled to 20 hrs consultations by any team member or 20 hrs use of equipment or testing and evaluation of software or workshop time for precision components. Sponsors have the added benefit of consulting the very best postgraduates from anywhere in the world as the home student restrictions of research councils do not apply.
